Vedic Meditators who are mothers of babies or young children can follow Mothers Program.
Mothers Program entails putting the needs of your babies/young children first and fitting meditation in around them. A mother can “catch as catch can” with meditation. That means; a mother can meditate any number of times a day and for as long as she likes each time – 10 mins, 20 mins, 30 mins etc.
She can meditate while breast feeding, before bed or anytime she has a chance to. The deep rest a mother will gain from extra meditation will help combat the sleep deprivation that accompanies caring for babies.
